WapiWorld has an official connector for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Muse, Grok and Perplexity. Once it is connected, you can ask the assistant about your WapiWorld account in your own words. It can tell you which of your WhatsApp numbers are connected, waiting for QR pairing or offline, whether message recording is on and how long messages are kept, and whether your webhooks are working. After you approve the exact text and recipient, it can send one WhatsApp message.
Connector URL: https://mcp.wapiworld.com/mcp
When you connect, a WapiWorld window opens: sign in with your usual WapiWorld email and password and approve the access. You don't need an API key or any technical setup.
What you can ask
- "Which of my WhatsApp numbers are offline or waiting for QR pairing?"
- "Is message recording turned on for my main number?"
- "Send "Your order is ready for pickup" from my shop number to +34 600 000 000."
It cannot read your message history, show QR codes or pair numbers, and it sends one message at a time. A sent message cannot be taken back.
Connect WapiWorld to your AI assistant
You add WapiWorld once, then the assistant can use it in any chat. AI apps rename these menus often: Plugins, Connectors and Apps all mean the same thing.
ChatGPT
- From the plugin directory (most plans): if WapiWorld is listed, open Plugins in the sidebar (or Settings → Plugins), search for WapiWorld, select Install and Connect, and sign in.
- Add it yourself (ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, on the web): open Plugins, select + and Add custom MCP server, enter WapiWorld as the name and paste the connector URL, choose OAuth sign-in, confirm and select Create as a plugin. Then install it and type @WapiWorld in a chat. On Business, only an admin can add it. On Pro, a server you add yourself can only read, not change anything.
If you don't see Add custom MCP server, your plan doesn't include it: use the directory instead.
Claude
On claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, open Customize (called Plugins in newer versions) → Connectors, select + Add → Add custom connector, enter WapiWorld and paste the connector URL, select Continue, keep the recommended sign-in options and select Add. Then select Connect and sign in to WapiWorld. It also works in the Claude mobile app afterwards.
- Free plans can add one custom connector.
- On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds it first in Organization settings → Connectors; then each member connects with their own WapiWorld account.
- If WapiWorld is in Claude's connector directory, you can also add it from there.
Muse (Meta)
Muse is available in the United States, Canada, Japan and Singapore. In a Muse chat, ask: "Create a custom connector for WapiWorld with the URL https://mcp.wapiworld.com/mcp". Muse guides you through it: sign in to WapiWorld when the window opens and allow access. Muse asks for your permission the first time it uses the connector, and every time before a sensitive action.
Grok
On grok.com, open Connectors (grok.com/connectors), select New Connector → Custom, paste the connector URL and sign in to WapiWorld. On Grok Business, an admin adds the connector first in the xAI console; then each member connects it.
Perplexity
On Perplexity Pro, Max and Enterprise: open Plugins (or Customize → Connectors), select Add custom → Add MCP connector → Remote, enter WapiWorld and paste the connector URL, choose OAuth, accept and select Add. Then select the new card to sign in to WapiWorld.
Mistral Vibe (Le Chat)
Open Connectors, select + Add Connector → Custom MCP Connector, enter WapiWorld and paste the connector URL, then select Connect and sign in to WapiWorld.
Gemini and Microsoft Copilot
Gemini and Microsoft Copilot can't connect to WapiWorld yet. We will update this page when they can.
AI agents that work for you
- OpenAI Dots use the plugins of your ChatGPT account. Install WapiWorld in ChatGPT first (see above), then open your dot's profile → Customize → Plugins, choose WapiWorld and connect it. Dots are available on ChatGPT Pro (outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) and Business Premium.
- Claude Duet uses the apps you have already connected in Claude: connect WapiWorld in Claude first (see above). Duet is available on Claude Pro, Max and Ultra in the United States, with a waitlist.
- Grok Bot can add WapiWorld by its URL: ask your Bot to add the MCP server https://mcp.wapiworld.com/mcp, or open Connect apps, add it and select Authorize to sign in. Then mention it with @.
You choose which actions an agent may take without asking you first.
For developers
In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http wapiworld https://mcp.wapiworld.com/mcp
Then run /mcp to sign in. In OpenAI Codex:
codex mcp add wapiworld --url https://mcp.wapiworld.com/mcp
codex mcp login wapiworld
In Cursor, add it to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{ "mcpServers": { "wapiworld": { "url": "https://mcp.wapiworld.com/mcp" } } }
In VS Code, run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP and paste the connector URL. Any other app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in can use the same URL.
Privacy and security
- The assistant only sees what your own WapiWorld account can see, and only after you approve the connection.
- WapiWorld never shares your password with the AI app.
- You can disconnect WapiWorld at any time in the assistant's settings. Changing your WapiWorld password also disconnects every AI app.
If something does not work
- You can't find WapiWorld in the app's directory: add it as a custom connector with the URL above.
- The assistant asks for an API key or a client ID: leave those fields empty. WapiWorld uses a normal sign-in instead.
- The sign-in window shows an error: write to us here with the name of your AI app and what you see, and we'll help.
- The assistant can no longer reach WapiWorld: connect it again. A connection unused for about 90 days, and every connection made before you changed your WapiWorld password, needs a new sign-in.
- The assistant says it can't do something: the connector can only do what is listed above. Do the rest in the WapiWorld app.
